DRESSING UP FOR A SOCIAL EVENT

 

The world doesn’t come to a standstill when you get pregnant. People around you will still have fun and go to social events. I must admit, there are times I would think of what to wear to such events and feel like cancelling would be the easiest option.  This is normally to avoid the stress of finding what to wear to the event and not because I don’t feel like attending them. However, I decided to face my “demons” head on and find fabulous items of clothing for social events.

I like this look and I am comfortable wearing it to a social event. Not only does the dress lift my spirits but it enables me to move around with ease since it is not tight. 

 

I adore this neck piece because it has the ability to transform an outfit from average to fabulous. It’s bright and chunky and reminds me that I am not lazing around in the house. I can do without earrings when I wear the neck piece because I would want people to focus on it and avoid anything that might steal attention from it.

 

I love carrying clutch bags to social events as opposed to big handbags. Clutch bags are more portable and they make me feel sophisticated.
